i AM PROVIDING CAR ON LEASE BASIS TO BSNL TILL DAY THEY WERE PAYING MONTHLY RENT OF RS 75000/- FROM THIS MONTH IT IS LIKELY TO CROSS ONE LAKHS LET ME KNOW WHETHER I SHOULD GET REGISTERED UNDER SERVICE TAX ACT AND COLLECT TAX FROM BSNL. tHE BSNLO PEOPLE INFORMED THAT I NEED REGISTEREE THEY ARE PAYING SAME ON MY BEHALF PLEASE GUIDE ME

If gross service receipt cross Rs. 900000/- required to register under the service tax by filing ST-1 form in ACES. As per your query you intimated that your receipt cross 10 lakhs this year . So better to get register in service tax .

yes, agreed. You need to register under the Service Tax Act.

you have to take the service tax number. and intimate to service tax deptt. if you receipt cross the rs. 9 lacs.
