25 July 2017 Whether Bus Body Building on Chassis Supplied by client amount to Service under Head 9988 (18%) or goods under head 8707 (28%)?

25 July 2017 If you give only service then you can use 9988...
If you can give material only then you can use 8707....
If you can give both supplies then you can use 9988 as services and 8707 as Sales....

(but, advisable can't give mixed supply....)

25 July 2017 If it is supply of both goods or services then it would be composite supply as they are naturally bundled and not mixed.
What the rule of interpretation of Customs says if an activity fall under two different heading?
As per me it is principally supply of job work or fabrication service.

25 July 2017 If your principal supply is Job work then you ll be give two bills in one work. can issue sale invoice and service invoice.

25 July 2017 If you give both is one invoice then you ll be calculate 28% tax for both work... Bcoz, A mixed supplies tax is which goods/services is highest rate of tax that is involve all other items...
