02 August 2008 If a person deposit cheque into bank on 30th march, and as per paying slip he accounted in the books of accounts. and in bank reconcilation if the cheque remain uncleared.

The credit for same cheque received on 2nd april as per bank statement, then when he has to pay service tax on that.

In the month of March 08 or 05 July 08
