When and how to apply for atc certificate

26 October 2013 I have Cleared IPCC in 2011 and also completed 2 yrs of articleship and now 3rd year is going on..my CA Final attempt is due in May 2014. I had also applied for ATC along with IPCC and now I want to apply for ATC Certificate..so please tell me what's the procedure for applying for ATC Certificate .

26 October 2013 ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN COURSE (ATC)
A student can become an Accounting Technician by enrolling for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) after passing Class 10 examination, Pass 10+2 examination and CPT, enrol for Accounting Technician Course (ATC), successfully complete 9 months of Study course, successfully complete Orientation Course of one week spanning over 35 hours and covering topics, such as, personality development, communication skills, office procedures, business environment, general commercial knowledge, etc thereafter successfully complete Information Technology Training (ITT) or Computer Training Programme, Pass Group I composed of four papers of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE). Successfully complete one year work experience under a chartered accountant in practice or in industry and Get ATC Certificate - Designate as Accounting Technician.
After becoming Accounting Technician if student wants to pursue for CA course he can do it by Enrolling in Group II of Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC), Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years, Pass Group II of IPCE , Appear in IPCC Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training, Pass both the Groups of IPCC Final examination, Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable,- Successfully complete the Course on General Management and Communication Skills, Get IPCC Final Examination Certificate, Enrol as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accourtant."

26 October 2013 Sir i have filled this form . But in that form articleship completion certificate is required and my artcleship 3rd yr is going on.so whether i can apply without completion certificate or not ?

26 October 2013 No you will wait till your completion of article ship.Because application required the date of coomenemnt and ending of article ship.

26 October 2013 Yes, you complete your 3 years there after you apply for ATC certificate.
