21 Clear days notice if Articles of Association ,of the said private company, does not not provide otherwise.

Yes, as a corollary to section 169(6) of the Co's Act,1956.

Section 171 of companies Act 1956 deals with Length of Notice..
But where a pvt ltd company has provided, by its AOA days less than 21 Clear days, it can do so..
Further Provision of 171(2) can be taken into account for shorter Notice to call AGM/EGM.
