16 February 2014 I have one client is a Govt. Employee and he has also income from Short Term Capital Gain(STT paid), loss from Long Term Capital Gain(STT paid) and loss from Speculation income(STT paid). So what ITR should be fill.

16 February 2014 1. Salary Income = ITR -1.
2. Salary +LTCG +STCG= ITR-2
3. Salary +LTCG+STCG+ (SPECULATION INCOME WITH STT PAID= NORMAL BUSINESS INCOME)= ITR-4.

ITR-4 WILL BE APPLICABLE.

17 February 2014 In case of business income (loss) ITR 4 has to be filed.
