Whether Self declation is sufficient - If it is sufficient what is the format for it?

OR

We need 2 submit compulsarly the proof of Rent Expence?

14 December 2009 Claiming for HRA needs rent receipt and also HRA provided by employer.
rent receipt format very simple; you just purchase from book seller 'rent receipt book'.
if rent paid below 2500pm self declation is sufficient. All the best
