29 February 2012 Indenting nothing but the giving requirement for the purchase of materials or goods for production or consumption or any other purpose

01 March 2012 The word "indent" may have arrived from "Intend" or "intention"

Let us say there are two department in company. One is Purchase department & another is manufacturing department. Now if Manufacturing department want some items to be purchased, it will give its written request to purchase department. This written request is called Indent
