what is the EPF and ESIC Rate at present. and what is the provision of computation..?
please explain briefly..

Epf is calculated on Basic +DA @12% is employee share employer has to contribute @12% +1.61% towards administration and EDLI total @13.61%.
ceiling limit is Rs.15000/- employer can contribute any amount of basic or maximum upto 15000/- it depends on employer. Out of 12%. 8.33% towards pension and 3.67% towards PF is apportioned.
ESI is deducted on gross salary ceiling limit is Rs. 15000/- , above 15000/- Salary not eligible to cover under ESI, Employee contribution @ 1.75% and employers contribution @4.75% total contribution @6.50%
