May I Know What is the current % of Cst with & without 'C' form ?

Currently 3%. In the proposed blll, it is 2%. Without C form, respective local tax rate for the respective products

THE 2% CST PROPOSED IN THE BUDGET 2008-09 IS UNDER RECONSIDERATION BY OUR F.M IN CONSULT WITH STATE GOVTS.
EARLIER WHEN CST WAS 4% WITH C FORM,CST WAS 10% WITHOUT C FORM IN ANDHRA PRADESH.
SINCE VAT IS APPLICABLE IN STATES FOR LOCAL SALES TAX ,YOU NEED TO CONSIDER THE APPLICABLE VAT RATE MINUS 3% WITH C.FORM.

The rate still to to clarified by the concerned departments. It is expected that by the end of this month there will be a circular regarding this issue. Till then the 3% rate will be continued.
