what is procedure to follow for service tax registration?

kindly provide me a complete procedure to register under service tax..

step-1. in given link u will do register with ACES https://www.aces.gov.in/STASE/switch.do?prefix=/ui/jsp/common&page=/loginpage.do
step-2. after registration you will receive user Id & pswd then you will login in same link
step-3. after login you will fill ST-1
step-4. after filling ST-1 you will take print out of ST-1 and then after you will submit hard copy of ST-1 & other documents related to registration in your near service tax department.
step-5. after 3 days you can check online.
