04 October 2009 Prefrential Shares is shares issued by the company. In respect of the dividend issues the prefrential shareholders have the priority over equity shareholder. Dividend arets are fixed at the time of issue. Redemeable Pref shares means the Shares which will get redemeed after the specific period

15 October 2009 When a company fails to pay a dividend, holders of cumulative preference shares are entitled to receive this missed payment when a dividend is next declared. This rule is cumulative and they are also entitled to the current dividend provided sufficient cash is available. These payments receive priority over the claims of ordinary shareholders
