what is commercial invoice and what is the customs invoice?

12 March 2010 commercial invoice is your regular bills. custom invoice is the amount wherein your foreign bill will be converted to INR and and an additional landing charges will be computed. this will be done before calculating the duties and taxes

12 March 2010 A commercial invoice is a document used in foreign trade. It is used as a customs declaration provided by the person or corporation that is exporting an item across international borders.[1] [2] Although there is no standard format, the document must include a few specific pieces of information such as the parties involved in the shipping transaction, the goods being transported, the country of manufacture, and the Harmonized System codes for those goods. A commercial invoice must also include a statement certifying that the invoice is true, and a signature.

Extended form of commercial invoice required by customs (often in a specified format) in which the exporter states the description, quantity and selling price, freight, insurance, and packing costs, terms of delivery and payment, weight and/or volume of the goods for the purpose of determining customs import value at the port of destination.

what is provision in these matter of the government of india?
