21 March 2009 Does that mean a CA in service having part time COP can sign balance sheets also

I dont think there is any thing like Part Time COP

If you take permission to do any other course/assignment
you can do attestaition also

There are three categories designated as

0. Full time in service

1. Full time in practice

2. Part time in service

0. = cannot sign b/s

1. = practise full time

2. = practise part time and hence can sign b/s. only difference is that ICAI monitors the time schedule that 1 and 2 category cannot devote same time for practise as 1 has more time.

Hence it is only graded.
