What are Tradable Debentures?

25 June 2011 'Shriram Transport' is issuing Non-convertible Debentures which will be listed on NSE and can be traded. My question regarding this is -
1. When do such debentures list on Stock Exchange
2.Can we sell it anytime after allotment once the debentures are listed (In this case, before 3yrs or 5yrs which are the maturity period of these debentures)

28 June 2011 1. The debentures can be listed by the company immediately after issuing the same.
The company has to fulfill the listing requirement of the Exchange.

2. Yes, trading is possible in listed NCD.
Liquidity is the main aspect in listing.
