Can anyone please explain me what actually adjusted purchases mean. And why closing stock is shown in trail balance when there are adjusted purchases. thank you.

Adjusted purchases means opening stock plus purchases less closing stock. Closing stock has two effects. When one effect is included in trial balance by way of inclusion in adjusted purchases the other should also form part of trial balance.

adjusted purchase are net purchase value use for sales its means op stock & closing stock effect are already given in purchase.
if closing stock effect are not given in T/B then it not include in T/B.
if closing stock effect are not given in T/B then it not include in T/B.
