04 November 2009 Whether WCT TDS is applicable on the mobilisation advnce given by client. As per my views, it should not be as WCT will be applicable only when actual works start.

06 November 2009 WCT is not applicable on advance payment made to contractor generally,
but in some state it is also applicable on advance payment.
