IF A CONTRACTEE IN HARYANA STATE AND CONTRACTOR IN DELHI STATE. CONTRACTEE DEDUCT WCT & DEPOSIT IN HARYANA STATE AGAINST HIS WORK DONE IN HARYANA, AND GIVEN WCT CERTIFICATE TO CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR IS REGISTERED IN DELHI STATE ONLY.
SO CONTRACTOR CAN BE BENEFIT OF HIS WCT CERTIFICATE.

Dear Mr Sumit Rai,
This is the case of execution of works contracts falling under the CST Act. Though the CST Act has been amended to include DEEMED SALES, supplementing Rules have not been incorporated in almost all the STate CST Rules. This is the case prevailing all over India.
Seeking a Registration and exeucting the contract as a local registered dealer seems to be the better option.
