I have been selected on the post of Accountant in some government department on the basis of my CA Inter. I am also a CA Final Student. In notice, it was mentioned that the student should have 1 year post qualification experience.
Can i mention my Articleship Training period done after CA Inter as post qualification Experience ? Whether am i eligible for the Job ?

POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE MEANS WORK EXPERIENCE AFTER BECOMING A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT. SO IN POST QUALIFICATION, THE EXPERIENCE OF ARTICLESHIP PERIOD IS NOT COUNTED.
SINCE YOUR ARE A FINAL STUDENT, YOUR ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO APPLY FOR THE JOB AS YOU ARE NOT CLEARED YOUR FIMAL EXAM. EVEN IF YOUR ARTICLESHIP IS OVER BUT IF YOU CONTINUE TO WORK IN YOUR ARTICLESHIP FIRM AS AN EMPLOYEE, STILL IT WONT BE COUNTED AS POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE UNTILL YOU BECOME A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
