06 September 2013 Can anyone xplain me about vat & s.tax ratio i.e 80:20 or 60:40 in work contract and is aplicble for all over India or different in all states??????

06 September 2013 It differs from STate to State. The rate of tax also differs. But, all the states have prescribed two structures.

1) actual labour, material cost and vat is applicable as per the schedule

2) compounding tax say 2%, 5% etc., for civil and other than civil.
