My friend wants to start electrical fitting business, does he require service tax registration, vat registration and tin number. If yes, please tell me how to obtain all these. Where toapply for tinin bangalore

As labour charges are involved in the receipts of electrical contracts service tax liability arises. Therefore registration under ST and VAT both are necessary. Both these can be done online. Open the respective websites and go for e-registration. You will get the required form to be filled,documents to be attached,fees to be paid and further details....mjk
