16 August 2013 As labour charges are involved in the receipts of electrical contracts service tax liability arises. Therefore registration under ST and VAT both are necessary. Both these can be done online. Open the respective websites and go for e-registration. You will get the required form to be filled,documents to be attached,fees to be paid and further details....mjk
