One of business man is paying vat @ 20% on manufacture tobacco. he wants to know what are the rate of manufactured tobacco in different state or is it exempted in any state.

State has a liberty to fix the rate on sale of Tobacco and different sates have different rates to that respect. For instance in State of Gujarat Sale of Tobacco and Tobacco related products attracts Vat @ 25%.

Is tobacco manufactured is exempted in any state or charged lower rate than 20%.
