09 February 2015 POA stands for Power of Attorney.

A letter of POA duly signed and stamped as per Delhi Stamp Act should be made addressing that the Authorised representative may act on behalf of the assessee. Then only the Authorised representative can appear in front of departmental authorities for assessee.
