Vat on Wet dates

02 May 2011 After importing the wet dates if i sell it in Mumbai whether i need to charge vat on it...? as in Maharastra Vat on Wet dates is exempted. Please clarify.

Please tell me the existing Vat rate on Wet dates in the state of Karnataka.
