Dear Sir,
I have reced one invoice for AMC of AC's.
On which vendor has cliam VAT @12.5%.
Is it right or he has to claim Service tax.
Pls explian.

HE HAS TO CHARGE SERVICE TAX BUT IF ANY MATERIAL IS SUPPLIED ON WHICH VAT IS APPLICABLE HE SHOULD CHARGE VAT ON IT.
