Dear All-
Our vendors has software problem to print few fields prescribed by the VAT laws whie printing VAT Invoice. They are manual feeding the fields. Whether Input tax credit is allowed on such invoices.

yes it is allowed provided there is no tampering on tax.

Thanks to add to my question one of the vendor has the option to back date the invoice but its serial numbered & continue this facility is available only during a month. pls let me know whether this is in line with the service tax and vAT laws.
