Is any circular/notification has been issued by Dept of Sales Tax for increase in vat audit limits from Rs 60 lakhs to Rs 1 Crores as done in IT Audit?

For Maharashtra the limit is same as the limit for tax audit. i.e. if a concern is liable for tax audit then it is liable for vat audit.

Any circular/notification/clarification has been issued? If yes, provide the same? I am under the impression that VAT Audit limit u/s 61 is still Rs 60 lacs.
