25 November 2013 VAT audit is verifying the accounts maintained by a firm on 1)correctness of accounts,2) filing of returns,and payment of taxes,3)final accounts and its tallying with the returns,4)issuing and maintenance of statutory forms with respect to concessions and transactions.5) completing a final return.....mjk

02 December 2013 VAT Audit started this year only needs to be filed by 31st Dec ( dates extended.
Applicable on assesse whose taxable turnover is more than 10Cr in the current FY ie 2012-13.

Form AR1 needs to be filed and get audited by a CA.
