It is appicable on hospitals because supply of medicines is an integral part of the services rendered and it is significant in terms of cost to the patient and normally charged separately. refer Honourable Kerala high court judgementin the case of MAlankara Orthodox syrian chruch vs Sto (2004) 135 STC 224 (Ker)
