i would like to know about service tax and vat.
my question is ,why some hotels will charge vat and some others service tax on bill amount?

VAT CHARGED THOSE WHO ARE MAKING FOODS JUST LIKE A RESTURANT OR HOTELS BUT BAR & STAYING HOTELS WHO PROVIDES THE SERVICE ONLY , THEY CHRGED SERVICE TAX
