i have taken vat& cst no. but afterword i closed my business, whether it is mendedory for me of filing VAT Return? and how i can claim my deposit of 25000 back?

23 August 2013 if you have registered with VAT & CST, you have to file the return until you surrender the regd.

If you close your business and do not need VAT/CST you should surrender it and claim refund of deposit

26 August 2013 sir, i have taken vat/cst no. 6 months back, but till now i have no transaction so i had not file vat return? what i should do now, pls guide me sir.
