At which amount service tax will be calculated if there is any adjustment made on the full settlement of accounts, such as bad debts
for example-total value of service is 25000/- including service tax and amount realised from debtors is only 22000/- and 3000 wrote of as a bad debts.

service tax is liable on received basis and rendering the free services are out of the preview of service tax...
so service tax is liable on received amount...and if u raising the bill of 25000 thousand and receiving the same amount than this amount is including the service tax amount so u should divide this amount by 110.30%

SIR, whether tax liblity will be calculate on Rs 22000/-or 25000/- because of 3000/- is bad debts
