When drafting an audit report for a proprietorship firm registered with ICAI, the correct pronoun to use is 'I'. This is in contrast to partnership firms, which should use 'We'. While the 3CB form doesn't explicitly state this, ICAI engagement letter formats confirm that individual proprietorships without an FRN should use 'I', whereas those with an FRN can use 'We'.

Use I in case of prop firm and use We in case of partnership firm.
See the 3CB format.
