29 March 2022 According to proviso 5 of rule 46 of CGST Rules, 2017 " the signature or digital signature of the supplier or his authorised representative shall not be required in the case of issuance of an electronic invoice in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000).

29 March 2022 Butsir they are demanding invoice having DSC...I have a bill of a purchase of BPCL they have affixed their DSC...please help ..what to do...how to issue invoice having dsc

How to add a signature to a PDF
Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Click on Fill & Sign in the Tools pane on the right.

29 March 2022 E-Invoice from IRP is just a document bearing sign of IRP officer. It is not the invoice of the taxpayer. You will be required to affix the DSC on your invoice which is generated through your software
