Urgent:I have not received my Pcc reg. papers yet

I submitted my PcC form to ICAI branch of Ahmedabad(the WRO HQ is in Mumbai) on 19 march, 2008 after my articleship begun on 18 March,2008. 1 month is about to pass, but I have not received my PcC registration paers stating my Reg. No, my id, ETC.

I had attached the required draft and the required documents. But when I email to the WRO@ICAI.ORG; they aren’t replying…. If I am not registered by april , I wont be able to give exams in Nov’09.
I am really worried.

09 April 2008 Hi Sushant, you don't have to worry as your articleship commenced from 18 March, 2008 & you will be eligible for Nov. 2009 attempt (as your 18 months articleship completed in the month of Sept.2009)

About the registration it will take time.

An eligibility criterion for PCC is completion of 15 months Articleship 3 months before the date of Exam and not Registration.

Suppose your Registration is done in the month of May or later on you need not worry as you are eligible for the Nov. 2009 attempt.

14 April 2008 i contatced NRO as well as WRO thru emAIl. WRO branch has not even responded to my email. I am getting really worried, and april is abt to get finished. what to do??

15 April 2008 You will be registered. Once the papers have reached ICAI Offices will act accordingly.
