Yes FBT will be applicable on it. FBT has been abolished and will take effect from the 1st April, 2010. So FBT liable in f. y. 2009 - 10. Wrong interpretation by CA Suresh

For current year 2009 - 10 as per budget FBT has been abolished for F. Y. 2009 - 10.
