Quick Summary

For the May 2023 CA exams, Goa offers two exam centres: Mapusa in North Goa and Margao in South Goa. Mapusa is closer to popular beaches and offers a quieter atmosphere, while Margao is a larger city with more amenities and transport links. While specific college names aren't always listed, these centres are typically held in local educational institutions. If you're travelling from Thane, Mapusa might be more convenient, but consider Margao for better urban facilities.

02 August 2025 For the May 2023 CA exams, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) listed Mapusa and Margao as the two exam centres in Goa.

📍 Choosing Between Mapusa and Margao
Mapusa: Located in North Goa, it's closer to areas like Anjuna, Calangute, and Baga beaches. Mapusa is known for its bustling market and relatively quieter atmosphere compared to Margao.

Margao: Situated in South Goa, it's nearer to Palolem, Colva, and Benaulim beaches. Margao is a larger city with more urban amenities and transportation options.

🏫 Common Exam Centres in Goa
While the specific college names are not always disclosed in the ICAI notifications, previous exam sessions have seen centres at:

Mapusa: Often hosted at local educational institutions in the northern part of Goa.

Margao: Typically held at colleges or schools in the southern region.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's recommended to check the official ICAI website or contact the Goa branch directly.

🧭 Recommendation
Given that you're from Thane, Mapusa might be more convenient for you, especially if you prefer a quieter environment. However, if you anticipate needing more urban amenities or better transportation options, Margao could be the better choice.
