29 March 2012 i file my itr today but without sign for refund. now what to do? it shall be treated as void so can i file it again?

30 March 2012 Have you filed a manual return or electronic return?

A return without signature is a void return and shall be treated as not filed.

If you filed the return electronically and sent the ITRV without signing, take another print out, sign it and send again.

If you have filed a manual return, go to the income tax office and request the clerk to let you sign the return. Otherwise file a fresh return.

You cannot file a revised return becuase the original return has not been filed.

30 March 2012 i file it again. now there are two return one with sign and one without sign. is it make any problem for me to collect my refund from department? if yes what solution now? thank siddharh

31 March 2012 The one without the signature shall be treated as void and will not be processed.

Only the signed return shall be processed and there will not be any problem in refund.
