One of my friend need get service tax registration. His name is Ram Narayan. Whether he can get service tax registration in the name of M/s R N Services (Proprietorship firm)
or
he has to apply in his name only?
Please clarify.

26 April 2016 A proprietary firm and a proprietor are one and the same thing. hence even if you take the name of the firm still the s.t. regn shall be of the proprietor.
