Dear Sir,
In service tax an assessee becomes liable to obtain service tax no. when he crosses the turn over of 9 lacs
or
when he crosses the limit of 10 lacs?
Please clarify.

He have to apply for Service tax registration once his turnover exceeds 9 lakhs
