28 September 2013 Dear Sir,
FD made to put as security before a contractee department will come in Govt. Security coulumn of part BS of itr4
or
in the coulumn of other current Assets.

Please clarify.

29 September 2013 It wont come in govt security at all. FD is not a security in any case.

Show it as other current assets. However, if the FD is for a period longer than two years, show it in long term investments.
