Uppcl corporation mein man power reverse mechanism charge

main uppcl corporation mein accountant hoon. hamare office ke labour contractor bill mein 75% and 25% ka reverse charge kar rahe hai kya yeh hamare corporation mein liable hai.Please guide me.

14 June 2013 Yes..Applicable to UPPCL.

Reverse charge incase of manpower supply will be applicable if ,

Service provider is Individual, HUF, proprietary or partnership firm, AOP located in taxable territory.

Service receiver is Business entity registered as body corporate located in the taxable territory.

As UPPCL comes under definition of "Business entity registered as a body corporate" Reversecharge mechanism applicable to UPPCL.
