Is it compulsory for every public limited company to be listed in a stock exchange.Sir please reply

No. Listing will be necessary only if u r going 4 a public issue of your company's shares/debebtures etc.

Listing is not a compulsory one for every public company. Read section 73 of the companies act 1956.
