Unascertainable share in house property

This query is : Resolved

04 August 2014 I am liable to pay rent on house property. The contract mentions co-owners but does not mention the share of ownership. Further i am required to make entire rental payment only to one of the owners. The others have given an NOC to me allowing for such payment. Can I make this payment?
How do i deduct TDS? What is the TDS treatment?

04 August 2014 you need to make an agreement mentioning the facts stated above for future legal refrence else u may be in trouble for non dedcution of tds correctly etc

04 August 2014 Thank you sir. So, should I make payment only to one owner as per NOC and TDS shall be deducted on the basis of single owner?

04 August 2014 tds should be deducted on the basis of no of onwers so u first execute an agreement
