Unaccounted use of pan

17 March 2019 Hello CA Club members,

In my 26AS form, I noticed an unknown entry. A company in Kolkata has used my PAN and has shown that they have made deposit in my account. However, no such transaction has happened. How can I contest this dubious entry. Thank you.

18 March 2019 You really need to take action against that, contact the company,write them a letter with registered post , and do take all necessary actions because , may b today or even after 5 years you will get a notice to pay tax on that amount, and that time you wont know the company exist or not...

I had seen same issues with one of my client after 7 years , when the company didnt existed and the client had deposited tax
