24 July 2013 If an individual having income from salary and income from fixed deposit above 15,000 (where TDS has been deducted by the respective bank).Which ITR to be filed for the AY 13-14.

Can any one please suggest me on this.

24 July 2013 ITR 1 is the appropriate ITR for you.

24 July 2013 Thanks sir. It is given, if the exempted income is above 5,000 ITR 2 need to be filed, will the interest income from fixed deposit (as mentioned in the above query)comes under exempted income or not?

24 July 2013 No Interest from Fixed Deposit is not exempted income at all. TDS is also being deducted from you by the respective banks.
