I have two proprietorship firms. Can I get these tax audited under section 44-AB by two different CAs.
If yes, then the details of which of the two auditors shall be filled in ITR-4.
Pl also guide if the service tax remained unpaid at the time of filing of ITR be taxable under section 43-B of the income tax or not

u will be asseseed as individual & ur all income will be clubbed & audited by a single ca.

If the service tax is passed through the profit and loss account and remained unpaid the same will be disalowed u/s43B.

Regarding two auditors, pl note one of the said two auditors may act as a branch auditor and the other may give the overall report by conducting the second unit and incorporating the report in the main which will ultimately be furnished along the return of income. The best example is bank HO and branches which are doing in this way.

You can have any number of auditors, but tax audit report from only one covering all the business of the proprietor can be filed with IT authorities.
