CAN I GET THE EXEMPTION OF TUTION FEES PAID FOR MY CHILD DOING FULL TIME B-ED COURSE FROM RECOGNISED COLLEGE AFFIDA. TO PUNE UNIVERSITY BUT THEY ONLY PRINTED THE ANNUAL FEES RS. 12000 ON THE RECEIPT . SO PLEASE ADIVICE ME .

You may not claim the full amount as the balance amount may be taken by them towards other categories of fees.
It will be safer to claim deduction of the amount mentioned as tuttion fees in the receipt.

You may contest by claiming and treating as tuition fee but straight way, it cant be termed as tuition fee.
