Treatment of construction of roads within factory

01 February 2010 I just wanna know whether the construction of roads within the factory premices are to be treated as part of fixed assets or whether to write it off wholly during the year of expenditure?
Clarifiction will be of great help.

01 February 2010 Since Construction of Roads in the Factory premises provides an enduring benefit to the Company, it will be a capital expenditure and will be part of Fixed Assets.
