i am asking question is transport charges collect from customer 2000 so we r paid transport charges 1500 remaining balance shows to income. It is correct sir pl reply me.

31 May 2014 depends on for what purpose transportation cost has been borne.

is it for freight inward or outward or for personnel transportation!

31 May 2014 you your pay freight on inward goods. then
book under

freight inwards Exp.a/c
to Cash/Bank

and for freight outwards

Freight outwards exp. a/c dr.
to cash/bank a/c
